Shri Shiv Foundation
Our Gaushala was established in 2014 with an aim to revive, regain and re-establish the ancient Vedic culture. In Vedic traditions, the Cow is considered as a divine mother - the Gaumata, the one who bestows health, knowledge and prosperity. In Sanskrit the word 'Gau' mean light.
About
Shri Shiv Foundation Gaushala was started in 2014 by the vision of its managing trustee Mr. Milind J Rajore. It is a Non-profit organization in Kamshet which houses over 50 desi Indian cows including bulls and calves. We look after and take care of the cows with no intentions or actions of extracting any money from them. We currently have a staff of 6 people who take care of the cows, the guest house and the gaushala.

Our aim is to look after the cows despite the expenses and to look after their health in the best possible manner and to take care of the cows at every stage of their life despite their conditions. We try our best to use natural, ayurvedic and homeopathic remedies to treat our cows of any health issues. Our vision is to make people aware of the benefits and to get the benefits of staying in a Gaushala, hence the guesthouse. We want to get more people involved in this process.
